Coronavirus Update

Coronavirus Update
March 17, 2020 admin

Over the past few days there has been some significant changes in the Governments strategy with respect to the Coronavirus outbreak.

With this in mind we wanted to provide a clear update on Weatherproofing Advisors position.

Our first priority is to ensure that all of our staff and their families remain safe over the coming weeks and months. We have already issued very specific guidelines in response to clear Government advice with respect to hygiene and individual protection and have also taken the step for some personnel to operate remotely from the office.

We have been in contact with many of our customers with respect to continuing to work on sites and the majority have confirmed their commitment to keeping projects running. In fact, many see this as an opportunity to get projects completed whilst less of their personnel are around.

Currently our order book is very buoyant across all service centres. In fact, many projects are only just getting underway due to the recent period of adverse weather.

Our key suppliers are all confirming business as usual with no potential impact on production and deliveries over the coming weeks.

We will continue to follow Government advice and to some degree will be governed by the actions of our customers.

However, at the moment we must continue to focus on our customers’ requirements by maximising production on site, keeping everyone safe and providing surveys and quotations as required.

There is no real blueprint for this unprecedented situation we find ourselves in. All we can do is follow the advice which is being given by our Government and leaders across the world that is pull together, support one another and react quickly and effectively to the changes which are materialising day by day.

We will continue to keep you all updated as and when the position changes.

Thank you all for your continued efforts and commitments.

On behalf of the Board of Directors.
